I would like to say there is some story or anecdote behind this sentimental gifts design ,but there isn't ,like so many, the poem appealed to me , it just begged to be used, so I had to oblige it by finding and matching it with a suitable graphic.I must of done the matching quite successfully as it is one of the more popular of my handmade gifts designs that gets requested a lot around mothers day, but this sentimental gift also enjoys a constant demand through out the rest of the year, I guess just to tell a mom somewhere that they are appreciated , all the time not just around mothers day, and that has to be a good thing.
