This sentimental gifts book was designed with the younger child in mind to give to dad on even granddad on fathers day but this lovely verse can just as easily be adapted for Granddad/Brother/uncle any man fulfilling a care giving role in the life of a child. Last year a young lady had me make her up a special copy of this gift book ,it wasn’t to be given to her father or even the father of her little boy it was intended as a keepsake gift for her young sons room , his dad is a soldier so not home an awful lot, she wanted the child to read the verse and think of his dad, even though they couldn’t be together in body “spiritually mentally” she wanted her son to be reminded of his dad.
