Googling “gifts for her” wont help you find those extra special gifts for her the ones you really want to find ,the ones that she really deserves. Original or unique gifts that everyone wants to give and receive.
Why you ask ,well as clever as google maybe ,its only a piece of glorified computer programing it can’t read minds only word patterns or more to the point keyword patterns.

So when you type into the big G’s search box The words ” gifts for her” google produces websites that it associates most strongly with the keywords you typed .Well isn’t this the best way I hear you ask ,well yes and no I am afraid is the answer.

Well we all know from shopping in the real world we can’t just step across the threshhold of a large store and be instantly presented with a huge solid wall of attractively pre-wrapped and labelled gifts for her with a sign saying pay here now. I know most men when shopping for those perfect “gifts for her ” wish it was that easy but sorry guys its just not.
Even guys realize they’ve got to be a bit more specific than just typing in gifts, so thats why 110 thousand guys key into google the phrase “gifts for her” each month not very imaginative in my opinion but at least it brings you to specific pages within these huge online gift stores or still following our department store analagy to the aisle that displays gifts for women.
Now imagine what should happen if we were even more specific still with what we typed into the search box say for example we keyed in sentimental gifts for her .
Now heres is in my opinion where googles short falls begin to show, google is supposed to return results purely based on value of content and keyword relevancy ,so in theory if a small obscure webpage had the words sentimental gifts for her in its title and more relevent content on on its pages it should find itself in position one for that search term .
Well that isn’t how it works in practice, try it yourself ,key into google’s search box the words sentimental gifts for her and look at the results, if the big G were returning title and content relevent results then the website that occupies position ten on that page should be in top slot and obviously its not, the site at position ten is the only website whose title actually contains my search phrase word for word .

Unfortunately most online shoppers have not realized that to come up with really great gifts for her one has to scrape more than the mere surface of Google’s search returns. Well here’s a little l hint that you might not know about and might be quite helpful in your future gift searches if you enclose your search term in inverted commas ” sentimental gifts for her ” you should be shown only those websites that have on their pages your exact search term.
