I’m not sure which it is, that I am a bad photographer ,or a very picky photo editor but I am never truly happy with the pictures that are taken of my handmade gifts ,either by myself or someone else, I just can’t be pleased. As photographs, no matter how large their size (and large pictures I confess do look much better) do not convey the real 3d aspect of pages gift books. Each time I am commissioned to create a handmade gift for someone’s special life event particularly if it is a new design I always take photo’s of the finished pieces in the hope that they can be added to pages 3d Gallery ,but 9 times out of ten the handmade gifts are packaged and posted without me being able to capture what I consider to be an adequate representation of how the handmade gifts actually appeared in real life ,consequently there are not many images in the 3d gallery . I do have a second 3d gallery almost ready to upload ,the 3D galleries I limit to just six photo’s in each album as the pictures are quite large , both in file and screen size.
So those with slower connections have a chance to view pages from the heart handmade gifts in 3D or as close as I can get them ,there is an A and a B album the second album is exactly the same as the first displaying images of exactly the same handmade gifts but the images are compressed by 50% so load a lot faster for those on a slower internet connection. The software that I use is very good and everyone swears they cannot see a difference …..well I can. perhaps you would like to judge.
Pages from the Heart Theme Gallery
Currently I am working on theme based albums for Pages handmade gifts here all the un-embellished image templates are displayed ,with the poem or verse that usually accompanies that graphic template displayed beside it, This is a work in progress. 97% complete So far so please bare with me.
This gallery because it is comprised only from the graphic templates on which the finished handmade gifts are based it is much quicker to load for you the viewer I don’t have to worry about capturing the 3D element in this album , the only draw back is you will have to use your imagination a little to envision how they will look as a finished decorated 3D gift book. If this tasks your imagination too much ( I think I.m probably talking to just the gentlemen now) you may contact me any ask if I have a photo of a similar handmade gift book or one of that actual design not yet added to the 3D gallery that I will let you see.
