This is one of my all time favorite sentimental handmade gifts book designs . It is so simple and the verse so short yet as its last line says it does say it all for any mum it gets me every time ,who in there own childhood doesn’t recall running home to mum to proudly present her with a mixed bouquet of dandelions , dog daisy’s and clovers and what mum has not received her own weed bouquet from her own offspring .I really enjoy creating pages from the heart gift books that bear this design ,as I love the way the fringed and quilled dandelions turn out they look so realistic I keep expecting them to wilt just like the real ones do . I am half way through making up one of my handmade gifts with this design I will try my very best to take a decent photo and upload it into the 3D gallery.For a while now I have been desperately searching for a suitable graphic with a little girl as I’d also like to use this very pleasant little verse in a feminine counterpart to the male version above, as I have had several requests for a female version of this handmade gifts design,and I finally think I’ve found the perfect image so check back in a few weeks to see the girl weed bouquet.
