Many gardeners use winters cold months to dream and make plans for their gardens next summer. Since winter is not an active season to be outdoors in the garden, sometimes our friends and family forget that there are gardening gifts we would love to receive for Christmas. If you have a gardener on your Christmas gifts list, ask for tips and hints on what they would most like to receive as Christmas gardening gifts. Also I would like to receive foam kneeling pads they make the gardening hours much more comfortable (good for lots of indoor jobs too. *Garden Trucks are great buys as a gardening gifts one of those light weight 2-wheel jobs that are so much easier to pull or push than a wheel -barrow or a gardeners tool caddy no more lost tools No more wondering where I might have left my favorite clippers. *Containers don’t forget containers as gardening gifts some gardeners who have very little space would really appreciate attractive containers for growing their plants in. Although they may not be able to utilize the container until next spring, Any gardener would be delighted to receive a small herb wheel planter ,or receive a beautiful pot or other garden containers as gardening gifts for Christmas. I realize that the winter months are not time for stocking up on plants ,but Christmas time is an ideal time to give a gardener friends gift certificates as a gardening gifts ,if you’ve got a gardener hobbyist to buy for, if their passion for example is Hostas or lilies you could do research on the favorite plant and buy a rare or difficult to find specimen plant that they have been longing for, or at least gift certificates , to give a gardener gift certificates for Christmas is a great idea I know with all other friends, to give an impersonal gift certificates would be a big no no, but to give gardeners , gift certificates is one of the only times you can get away with giving a gift certificates without it being thought a little off . But because you are a none gardener your gardener friend will completely understand that you don’t have the expert knowledge necessary to choose the plants and will fully appreciate the gift certificates ,the fact that you were smart enough and honest enough to admit it, and will love being able to pick the plants herself. But, do your research well .only purchase gift certificates from a highly recommended plant sources, orders can usually be made from nursery catalogs and they will send out gift certificates straight away or the plant at the appropriate planting time next year,don’t forget to include a picture of the chosen plants with the gift certificates or included with the Christmas card so your gardener friend knows what plant you have chosen as a gardening gift for him or her. * Magazine Subscriptions are another great purchase as gardening gifts the gardener will think of you with each issue, most gardeners enjoy magazines about gardening or on attracting wildlife, birds,or butterflies, to their gardens.
